About us



Daniel Matthews has almost 30-years experience as a trainer, 14 years of supervisory and management experience with Toyota Motor Manufacturing and Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing. In addition he has 4 years experience working for the Kentucky Manufacturing Extension Partnership a Not-For-Profit dedicated to improving the efficiency of Kentucky manufactures. 

As a trainer, coach, mentor and implementer of LEAN, Daniel has trained hundreds of associates at all levels in the methods of the Toyota Production System. He has experience in deploying LEAN, TWI and A3 Thinking in over 20 different industries from metal fabrication Job-Shops, Food Industry and orthopedic devices

Daniel was part of the original group of trainers at the Georgetown Kentucky Toyota plant charged with developing A3 Problem Solving and other curriculum that would be used to educate team members at all levels of the organization. While working for Toyota he became an experienced Training Within Industry (TWI) instructor. As a Master Trainer, he has certified individuals in various organizations to teach TWI and A3 Problem Solving classes.

Daniel has mentored managers, leaders and associates on the skills they need to sustain a Lean culture including problem-solving, team building, facilitation, coaching, communication, conflict management and leadership both in the classroom and in the workplace.

Daniel's skills in A3 Problem Solving and TWI lead to speaking engagements with the National Printers Conference, MEP National Conference, Shingo Prize Conference and Japanese automotive manufactures.

Daniel graduated summa cum laude from Indiana Wesleyan University with a BSBA degree where he was a two-time recipient of the "Outstanding Business Professional Award".
